Re: Mawson from Yorkshire, England
I am trying to find information about Horner? Mawson. Father is possibly Benjamin, Mother Ann. He may have been christened on 20 Dec 1829 in Baildon, Yorkshire, England. To the best of my knowledge he had three childrn Agnes, Frances, and Harry. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thank You.

My grandmother was Mary Thurling from Black Pool England, she came to the US approximately 1865? I have no other info other then she had an uncle who owned a candy shop in Jersey City, NJ she lived with him and her sister Mae and married Timothy Curtin of Jersey City. They had thirteen children. From what I understand there are cousin's by the name of O'Keefe who came from Irleland. This is all I know and would love to know if anyone out there has a match of any sort. Thank You!

My Great Grandmother was called Helena Mawson and she was born in 1901. She lived in Baildon (Baildon Road/Junk Yard). Her farther was called George Harry Mawson and he came from Wortley near Leeds and was born about 1868.
This is as far back as we have got. Please mail back if this is any use or if you have any other information
