Could anyone lead me to a contact or resource for Presbyterian church baptisms pre1920. I have haunted the church in Hastings village but haven't gotten anywhere. There must be a registry somewhere?

Hi, What are the names you are researching - Posting same - may find persons - connected - or may have resources to search.
Have you asked for information at the Presbyterian Church [ What name /Address} - if they don't still hold the records - on site - they will know where the information is archived .

I'm trying to get my late fathers baptism certificate, 1918, St. Andrews Church. Hastings. Not having any luck finding out who has these records. I've been to the church where my father was baptised many times, but it's always shut up tight. I don't live in the area so it's not so easy to just pop by.

Nothing. My father had no proof of birth, though he said he was baptised at St. Andrews. He was born in 1918. He used his army records to get his old age pension. He was using an assumed name his entire life. I have discovered his birth name, now trying to find a record.
