I guess this is a long shot but I have to try. My great great aunt Ida Germann from Morgan County Illinois, USA married John J Murphy from Ontario Canada in 1896. They lived in Chicago for a while and then moved to Belleville, Hastings, Ontario. I found them on the 1911 census but I know they lived there much longer because she is listed as living there on several obituaries for her sister's and brothers.

In 1911 they have 2 children, Lawrence and John Jr. The children may have been adopted because on the 1900 census for Chicago they had birthed 3 children and none lived. I have not found live births for them to these parents in Canada or the USA. The son Lawrence was born in Mar 1901 and son John Jr born in Sep 1907 according to the 1911 census.

I am writing a history book about the Germann family and Ida had 9 sisters and two brothers. I have been able to find the death dates and burials for all the 12 children except her. And that is what I need...her death date and where she might have been buried.

I realize it is 100 years later but I am hoping that someone might be able to bring me some new information.

I saw pictures of Belleville on the genweb site and it looks like it was a very nice town. Wish I could visit.
