Here's my problem:
According to Russ Waller's info on the Loyalist Families of Hastings County, George G. VANALLEN was the son of Lucas and Julia Ann VANALLEN and married Eliza Ann Palmer.
However, when checking the offical records for marriage, the record shows that he was the son of John and Martha VANALLEN.
If someone in Bellevile area could go to the Library and look up an obituary for George, it might help settle who his parents were.
The 1901 census, shows that he is listed directly below Lucas and Julia's family, which leads one to believe that he IS the son of Lucas and not of John and Martha.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
