Surnames: Napper, McIlvenna, Reed, Wood
I am looking for in formation on the following families from Nassagaweya in Halton:

NAPPER - William NAPPER; born 1811 in County Tipperary, Ireland. He moved with his wife (Isabelle WOOD) to Nassagaweya, Ontario and died there on 17/05/1873. He had the following children: Harriett, William, Mary, John, Elizabeth, Susannah (my line), James, Arthus and Charles.

McILVENNA - Robert McILVENNA; born in 1856 in Nassagaweya. He moved with his wife (Mary Elizabeth REED) to Saskatchewan and died in Estevan on 17/10/1941.

REED - Charles REED; married to Susannah Napper and born in 1837 in Nassagaweya. I believe that his father was William REED, who was born abt. 1810 in England. He had a daughter named Mary Elizabeth REED (married to Robert McILVENNA) who was born in 1858 in Nassagaweya and died on 10/10/1930 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada.

WOOD - Isabelle (or Isobelle) WOOD; born 1812 in County Cavan, Ireland, and married to William NAPPER. She died on 02/11/1888 in Nassagaweya.

I would love to hear from anyone with information on any of these names.

Raymond

Raymond - I recognize that you posted this a number of years ago, so I don't know as you will receive this response.

I am not related to either Elizabeth Reed. However, my great Aunt Elizabeth Caroline Christopher married Elizabeth Reed's brother John Henry Reed in 1895 in Cannington Manor, Saskatchewan. What was interesting to me was that Elizabeth married Robert McIlvenna. Robert and Elizabeth can be found in the 1911 Canada census, Saskatchewan, Assinboia district, Township 4, page 5.Robert & Elizabeth were married 15 Oct 1878 in Ontario for which a marriage registration can be found on ancestry.com (His name is spelled 'McElvenna'.

I noted this particularly because my great-grandmother's name is Mary McIlvenna b. 1845, but she was born in Ireland and was a Roman Catholic, while Robert was Methodist, so I don't see that there would be a close connection.
