Looking for burial of a Maria Travers or Travis who was married to John Lindsay of Halton. Found a Maria Travers buried in Glen Williams on OCFA. I have her death record which states she died Dec.10,1937 and is buried in Georgetown. Can anyone locate the proper cemetery for me? Thanks.

Hi, LINDSAY is the Married Surname ? - Usually Burial would be under the married surname rather than the maiden name.

Perhaps ?
Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid - shows :
LINDSAY, John (h/o Maria Lindsay)
LINDSAY, Maria
Cemetery: Shelburne County: Dufferin Township : Melancthon Ref: DU-DCM&A

Do you have a Birthdate/ year - Do you know when the marriage took place ?
At the time of death of Maria LINDSAY - nee TRAVERS / TRAVIS - was husband still living.

You know Maria TRAVERS / TRAVIS - married John LINDSAY -
You have a Death Record - stating death December 10 1937 - burial at Georgetown.
Is this under the LINDSAY surname ?
rather than the maiden name -

The death registration says Maria Lindsay and it says her father was Elijah Travers (Travis) Burial in Georgetown. However the announcement in the Georgetown Herald says Travis- Mrs. Maria Lindsay Travis.
Her husband is supposed to be buried at St. Stephen's Anglican Church in Hornby, Halton County.
i have attached her death record
