I live in Nova Scotia and have not met any of my family on my fathers side . I have no idea how many there even are . I only know tidbits of information that I remember hearing him ( James - JIM ) talk about , and from my mother who is now 98 years old . And what I have found on here .She lived with him during his last years until he died . I know they took at least one trip to Ontario during their time together perhaps in the 80's .

Hi Marie,
My name is Arla and I am the daughter of Betty's brother or half-brother. I have been searching (not for a couple of years now) for information about my Dad's family. I remember them coming to visit my Dad once when I was pretty young. Are you related to Elizabeth? My Dad's name was Loyd but he passed away in 1977 I think it was. He was born in 1914 in Gooderham and I know that his mother remarried when he was in his teens which is when he left home and later changed his surname to "Wader".
I look forward to hearing from you. My email address is arbevan@dccnet.com.
Sincerely,
Arla
