Am seeking information about my 3X great-grandparents, Ellen Golden and her husband Dougal Stuart/Dugald Stewart McKinnon (may be spelled MacKinnon). They were married prior to 1855 (this is the year my 2x great-grandfather, Donald Neil Campbell McKinnon, was born). Around 1855 they moved from Caledonia to Tillsonburg and eventually to Wolverton where they died and are buried (but their graves appear to be unmarked).

I believe they were married in Caledonia. Dougal's cousin, Ranald, was the town founder and my 2Xgreat-grandfather, Cam, was born there and he and his siblings went to school in Caledonia.

Any info on Dougal, but especially Ellen and/or the Golden family would be greatly appreciated. He was Scottish and she was Irish, but all I know about her is her age. I do have a scan of her portrait which I am happy to share with any relatives.
