Thanks for sharing those pictures with everyone Susan. My family comes from Meaford originally & I often wondered what it looked like. I have a very old school class picture(about 1890's)with my grandfather in it. There is nothing on it to indicate what school it is & it doesn't look like the one in your pictures. Do you have more pictures?

These are the only others I have on my computer
I was born in Meaford in the 50's and left in the 70's . We were an army family.My Dad worked at the Tank Range.
It's a beautiful town with lots of history.

I have no connection to the Arlidge family "I don't think "
I didn't know about the Saunders connection!
My mother was a Saunders born Peterborough. Her ancestors were born England Maybe there is a connection? Thanks for the info about Ada B Saunders d/o George Washington Saunders. I will do some research to see if there is connection to me .
