I have tracked down this family to Owen Sound and I have a lot of direct information. But I am looking more on Ancestors.
Finlay Campbell and Euphemia MacLeod were married in Harris, Isle of Skye Scotland and immigrated to Grey County (Sullivan and Sydenham) in around 1860 with the first four children. One more was born afterwards. Looking for more info on Finlay and Euphemia...Finlay died in Sydeham in 1903 and Euphemia dies also in Sydenham in 1900. Trying to find where they are buried though...could be Leith (home of Tom Thompson). Rumour has it that my ggrandmother Norma Evelyn used to live beside Tom Thompson and got paintings from him in exchange for money so he could buy paint. There were several paintings in the family that got sold off over the years.

Neil Campbell was a steamship captain and Married Catherine McLeod and had 4 children including Norma Evelyn, My ggrandmother.
Catherine McLeod's Parents were Donald McLeod and Elizabeth McPherson. I do not have much info on them except that Catherine was born in Hopeville in Feb. 1869 but does not show in the Ont. Vital Records.

Leith does have a cemetery and their are 'Campbell's' butied there. Also there are two neighbouring communities nearby - Annan and Balaclava. Balaclava has no cemetery but there is a cemetery in Annan and there are 'Campbell's' buried there. The one burial in Leith that caught my eye was William Campbell who died May 12 1894 age 77 years - and his wife Mary Flora McLeod who died Jan 20 1903 age 78 years. It shows William Campbell was a 'native of Islay Scotland. The communities of Annan and Leith are probably about 5 to 8 miles apart from one another - Balaclava is located probably about 10 to 15 miles of Leith & Annan. They are all located in the Twp of Syndenham. Annan and Leith can still be found on some road maps but Balaclava is not (it is on my old road map). There are also Campbell's buried in Owen Sound Greenwood Cemetery.
