I am in search of information on the family of William David
Clark and Sabina
Smith of
Bastard,
Leeds Co.Canada. They lived in
Bastard for many years and then moved to West Point,
Stephenson Co., Illinois in the 1850s. This is all that I can find for them. I know William David Clark's lineage back to the 1600s. His wife Sabina
Smith I know very little about though. She was born in
Leeds Co.

"Mrs. W. Clark died in Lena at the residence of W. J. Clark March 15. Aged 57 years. Born in the county of
Leeds,
Upper Canada on September 22, 1821. converted and united with the Wesleyan Church of Canada in the year 1853. Came to Lena October 22, 1858. Six children were waiting to greet her, so free from pain, she entered into rest. Six mourn her loss."
