I am trying to locate the father of Isaac M. Lober (born circa 1868-1869, Mary Lober (born 1870) and Adeline Lober (birth date unknown) in Martintown Ontario. I beleive they were baptized Roman Catholic.
The only reference I have for the father indicates that he was called Barnabe or Barnaby although that name does not appear in the 1871 census and that he drowned when the children were very young. The mother's maiden name was (I beleive) Mary or Marie Paradis. She later remarried a man known as Soloman Barnhart.
As I live in Victoria B.C. research into Ontario records is rather difficult as the only information available on line is the 1871 census. Anything else involves going to Toronto to search the records manually.
If I can be of assistance in searching British Columbia records for anyone, I live in the capitol city where access is quite easy. As I am retired, I have the time and would be glad to help.
