Yes I have the Ann / Nancy McDonell land petition info , as that is how I found out her father was Donald McDonell KRRNY killed at Fort Stanwix in 1777 . Actually I was able to find that he enlisted on August 18 1777 and was discharged a week later , presumably because of his wounds . Gavin Watt has a new book out that is devoted more to the lower ranking soldiers in the St Leger and Bourgoyne campaigns 1777 , and the name Donald McDonell appears in the index , so might try to track him down at the Cornwall Library , which has a wealth of books on such subjects .
