If you Google 'Old Eastern District Names of Owners of Lots Given McNiff's Map 1786' it should bring you to a site where these persons and their lot numbers are listed . The only thing that is close to McLellan[d] is the John McLeland / McLennan who received Lot 23 Street Road . I have identified him as said John McLennan who was on the Pearl 1773 , is on the Kingsborough Patent Tenant List , was KRRNY and UEL . He is also the father of my Henrietta Henny McLennan who married Duncan Grant of Lot 20 South Branch Road , son of Peter Grant , also Kingsborough Patent and KRRNY . I do not think the McLellan[d] of South Branch were any of these . The McLennan family held this said Lot 23 Street Road into the 1940s .
