Hi Tal I have a John Grant born in 1835 the day is the 16th. I cannot make out the month. His parents were John Grant born in Quebec and Jennie(Janet,Jenny)McDonell born in Ontario. John was born in Sommerstown, Glengarry and was catholic when he married in 1872 in Camden. He is also listed catholic on census records. I was wondering if he is in the St. Raphael records possibly for baptism. His son Reverend John Grant died in the 7th concession Charlottenburgh, Glengarry in 1917. The informant was a Duncan Grant of RR#3 Martinstown. I assume Duncan Grant was a relative that FR. John Grant was visiting as he was a catholic priest from Toronto. Can you tell me where Summerstown and Martinstown are in relation to St.Raphael. I am trying to find other Grants connected to my grants. Thank you for any help.Donna
