I am looking for information on William Fraser and his first wife, Mary Campbell who lived in Newton or possibly Cote st. George, Quebec (just across the border from Lochiel) circa 1819. William came from Glenelg, Inverness. Little is known of Mary.

William Fraser and Mary Campbell had a son, Andrew, christened at St. Raphael's in 1819. Mary Campbell died, shortly after Andrew's birth. Subsequently William moved to Lochiel and remarried.

There may have been two additional children born to William Fraser and Mary Campbell ... Margaret and Harriet. I have been told Harriet married a Thomas Duncan in Lochiel.
