I am searching for information on my family.

Henry Nigh was born on April 20th, 1826. He died on December 31st, 1855. On September 25th, 1849 he married Sophia Jane Russell (daughter of James & Eliza Russell).

Henry & Sophia had four children; one of whom is George Helmus Nigh who was born (according to his obituary) on November 17th, 1853 in Chiequia Co, Canada.

When George was five years old, Sophia and her children moved to Wisconsin. At this point in time Sophia's husband Henry had died. (Sophia was married three times including Henry and each husband died shortly after marrying her.)

I have never been able to locate Chiequia Co, Canada or any information on Henry's parents, or even Sophia's parents.

Can anyone help figure this out? There is a possibility that Henry & Sophia were married on Ontario, Canada, but that is unconfirmed as the Nigh Family Bible did not list where they were married or where they were born.

I'm also wondering if there is a connection between Nigh & Nighswander.

Any information would be appreciated.
