They are from northern Ireland and they had 2 possibly 4 children. He was a retired Officer in the Military and opened a Merchandise store in Cornwall? They had a son Martin B. 1822 and a daughter Ellen B. 1828 for sure in Ireland possibly the Atlantic. There was rumor there were 2 other daughters too. I think the marriage would have been in Ireland however I can't find anything. This is a long guess for the marriage and parents. The son, Martin in his obituary said he was named after his father. In the 1870 census in Chicago, Cook, Illinois there is a Bridget Aiken 72 at home. I think she is Ellen's mother. Ellen Tosney was married to an Anderson first before she married Robert Hudson in Chicago.
