Has anyone come across an Octavious Halford CLARKE in Ontario anywhere. He was born in 1815 in Cambridge, England, son of Edward Daniel CLARKE. In 1835 was in the Royal Navy in Malta, and in 1838 was in Shropshire in England. After that nothing.

An Octavius CLARKE arrived in New York in May 1843 from Belize, whom we suspect is our one because in late April 1843 some two weeks before, Edward William CLARKE, the eldest brother of Octavious Halford CLARKE died in Belize. Too much of a coincidence not to be.
