Listed were Lydia Burley daughter of Emerson and Amable Burley; Miss Mary Burley and John Burley; 2 marriages and 1 obit. Here you go:

Friday, June 20, 1823 Marriage "On Saturday the 7th inst., by the Rev. John Barcley, Mr. Peter Reid to Miss Mary Burley."

And

Friday, October 3, 1823 Marriage "On the 25th utlimo, by the Rev. Archdeacon Stuart, Mr. John Burley to Miss Lucy Buell Baker, both of this Town."

And

Friday, January 21, 1825 Obit: "At St. Eustache, County of York, District of Montreal, Lower Canada, of a short illness, on Monday the 10th instant, Miss Lydia Burley, second daughter of Emerson and Amable Burley, aged 31 years, 9 months and 3 days---Her sickness, it is supposed, originated in too close attention to the duties of an arduous profession---that of instructing youth. She had been for the space of 6 years, in the practice of teaching, and for some time previous to her last sickness, had acted as the Superintendent of a Ladies School. Her mild, modest and gentle conduct had endeared her not only to the young ladies under her charge, but to all those with thom she was acquainted. She bore her sickness with the pious resignation of a Christian, and her loss will long deeply and severely felt by the community of which she was so useful and valuable a member."

These are from The Kingston Cronicle. Apparently there are part from a series of Early Ontario Newspaper Transcriptions. I have Volume 22 and 23 The Frontenac Papers Vols 1-6 January 1819-1832. Your welcome.

Hello, My gggrandmother is Jerusha Dodge who was married to Cornelius Burley. As far as I can find they had 4 sons, Sidney, Wm, Cephas and Syrenious. Next she married John Abrey and they had Jeremiah and George. I have a picture of Jeremiah, George and Cyrus. I am like you I believe Syrenious and Cyrus are the same people but can't get any prove. Do you have other info on the Burleys? When n where Cornelius died or even born n where n when they were married? Tks
