I am looking for any information about the Winborne family,
father: William Winborne
sons: William, Thomas
dau's: Mary, Hannah, Anna, Eliza, Margaret

William (father) born in England and emmigrated to Wolfe Island, where he died. Mary b. April 26, 1820 (in England?)
married a Hoover and moved to the Mohawk Valley of New York State.

Samuel J Winborne, 25, b and living Wolfe Island, yeoman, parents: Wm & Oliva Winborne, married Mary Ann Berrows?, 27, Wolfe Island, parents: Peter & Jane, witn: Wm H Winborne, 1884, Wolfe Island, Frontenac. (Cannot read the date)

Death:
Thomas Winborne, 29, farmer, b Wolfe Island, died 14 Mar 1871, consumption, Informant: Jane Winborne, Wolfe Island, Frontenac # 015327

This may be the remarriage of the above Thomas’ widow.
Jane Winborne, 29, widow, b and living Wolfe Island, parents: Oliver Prilty & Trophinia Hase, married John Thomas Kinsey, 29, Wolfe Island, b Elsmere England, parents: William Kinsey & Ina? Jones, witn: Oliver R Prilta of Wolfe Island & Annie Maria Prilte of Kingston, 5 Sep 1873, Kingston, Frontenac.

I don’t know if these belong to you or not as there are a couple of families of Winborne living in Frontenac.

1901 and 1911 census on www.automatedgenealogy.com
I cannot find them on 1881 census Canada but they should be there. There are a few in the US 1881 census. You can have a look on www.familysearch.org

The only Winborne on the Ontario Cemetery Finding Guide is a Thomas Winborne, buried Trinity Church Anglican Cemetery on Wolfe Island, Frontenac. KG 6938
There is an Ann Wenbourne, same cemetery, KG 6938

Thank you so much. I do think these are some of "my" Winborne's. I have discovered that the name is often spelled Wenborne so I have a whole new direction to go in.
