Thanks for telling me about the library in windsor...
I am not so sure about the connection as I always was told the street ouellette was named after my grandmas family and they owned the 4 corners of 3 and howard....grant gave them to them is what i understand...

Are you laurie that is married to Billy B....?? My cousins live in my great grandmothers house now...

The names of others (her children) are grace mero kelly, mabel mero, adrian mero, lillian mero, and burdette mero burke...I don't know the names of annie's family and I sure wish I did if she had brothers and sisters or not...I never paid attention to all the talk as I was too young , and annie died before I was born...

Some one out there must have the same realatives ....

Thanks for writting...patti

If the Tremblay you are referring to is Alice Tremblay, she married my grandfathers brother Thomas. Please contact me if this is correct. The Tousignant's I know are Amable and they ended up in my home town. I am related to them, their name is now Signet.

Surnames: CHARETTE
I saw your postings about the Charette surname. Would you have any information in your Charette records on a FABIEN CHARETTE of Essex Co., who was born (I believe) abt. 1826 and died about Oct. 1903? Fabien married VICTOIRE OUELLETTE of Essex Co., born abt. 1830 & died abt. 1914. One of their daughters was LEOCADE (or LEOCADIE) CHARETTE who married GABRIEL LAUZON Jan. 7, 1890 in Tecumseh, Essex Co. at Ste. Anne's Church.

Any help would be appreciated.

Surnames: Charette, Ouellette
I have been perusing posts about the Charettes and the Ouellettes today, and came across your very old post of December 2006. I am the great-granddaughter of Victoire and Fabien's oldest child, Elizabeth Charette, born in 1850 and died in the early 1870s when my grandmother was only a few years old. I have done quite a bit of research on both Fabien and Victoire in the Ancestry Family Trees provided in those Hints they provide and--if they are accurate--I was able to go back quite a ways on both sides--Charettes and Ouellettes.

Maybe we can pool our information?

Gretchen

Janice, this might be very old in replying to you but Yes, I have information regarding my Grandparents Leocadie Charette whom Gabriel called Locade, if you are still looking please reply as I know that Fabien & Victorie are my Great Grandparents.

Thank you so much for your reply.
