I am trying to find info on John and his family. All I have is:
b. abt 1811, Lancashire, England, son of Samuel and Alice Hanson.
Richmal, b. 13 Apr 1811, dau of John and Rachel Whitehead
He appears in the '51 census having 5 daughters.
Richmal appears in the '61 census as a widow and having 2 daughters at home.
Their children are:
Racheal, b. abt 1834
Martha, b. 2 Jun 1839, Lancashire, England
Mary, b. abt 1843
Hanna, b. abt 1845
Betsy, b. 15 Jul 1848, Lancashire, England, d. 20 Jan 1921, Windsor.
The youngest daughter, Betsy married John Holden in 1895 in Windsor.

The rest is a big mystery.
