Looking for information on the family of Captain Charles Robert Thrasher. He was a captain on the Great Lakes and worked for the Pittsburg Steamship Company circa 1900. He was born in Ontario, Canada, possibly in Sandwich or Belle Isle, on January 13, 1863. He had several sisters and his family was active in the High Church of England. He married Viola McConnell and moved his family first to Buffalo, New York and then to Cleveland, Ohio where he died on February 25, 1916. He had three children, Mary, Beatrice and Charles, Jr. Any information would be appreciated.
