I am looking for any information and or relatives of my grandfather John Henry Chavis who was born 1850 September 15. I am told he was born in Terra Haute Indiana and immigrated to Canada in 1851. He then married Caroline M. Harris and had 8 children. Their names are Cortny H., John F., Daisy R., Eva A., William C., Freddie E.A., Ida B., and I believe Phoebe Ann Chavis. Any information you could provide and or help me with would be greatly appreciated.
