Hi George
It's been awhile since we've been in touch. I've recently made a breakthrough in the Trowbridge lineage, where I've discovered who the father of David Trowbridge was (Crispus), and Crispus' line back in New Jersey.
Keziah was the daughter of David Trowbridge and Mary Acre. I also have the Acre lineage back several generations.
If I did not already send you this information, let me know and I'll forward it in an e-mail.

Hi Jim:

You very kindly furnished me with all or most of your findings sometime ago for which I am eternally grateful to you.

I am trying to find the parents and ancestors of Alexander DePeel (b. in Bayham, Elgin Co., ONT abt 1799) h/o Keziah Trowbridge. I have ran up against a brickwall there.

I recently found Alexander;s death record and burial site along with his second wife Mary A (Brothers) DePeel. The death record list Bayham as his birthplace but the information on his parebts was blank. Alexander and Kesiah imigrated to Jackson, MI abot 1850. Kesiah (my gg-grandmother) was on a visit from Jackson to Bayham when she died unexpectantly in Bayham in 1853. I don't know for sure but expect she was buried in Elgin Co somewhere. Am trying to find any additional information on her death to.

Jim:

Do you have any information at all on Nicholas DePeel (who was Alexender DePeel's brother). Nicholas married Eve Acre. I am particularly interested in the children of Nicholas and Eve and who they married. I THINK they may have had a son named "Nicholas" who married a Bridget Paterson somewhere in Elgin Co or Ontario. Am trying to verify it. Do you have any information on them.

Am looking for links to an Amelia DePeel who married George Eaton, 18 Dec.1849 in London District, Ontario. The 1851 and 1861 census have them living in Bayham Twsp., Elgin County. George was born in US approx. 1829, Amelia in Ontario approx. 1831. Am tracing the Eaton lineage and any info would be helpful. T

I am researching a Michael Depeel/Depeal that was in Lenawee Co., Michigan, but I believe he may be connected to those next door in Jackson Co. This Michael may have been born about 1792.
