Looking for more information about, and ancestor/descendant information of, the following:

Duncan McArthurm born about 1790 in Argyleshire, Scotland; died July 11, 1876 in Elgin County, Ontario, Canada; buried in Cowell/McBride Cemetery, Elgin County, Ontario, Canada; married Amelia (?), she was born about 1788 in Argyleshire, Scotland, died November 10, 1870, and is buried in Cowell/McBride Cemetery, Elgin County, Ontario, Canada. Their children: Duncan, Dougald (born about 1822 in Scotland), Nancy, Angus, Hugh, Neil, John, Catherine. All immigrated to North America about 1850 with other families of McArthur, McBride, and Carmichael.

The Dougald listed above married Mary McBride (born about 1823); he died November 5, 1895, she died Januay 27, 1885, both are buried in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas. Dougald and Mary's first child, Catherine, married John Carmichael (John and Catherine are my husband's gg-grandarents)...we have lots of information from them on down, but hardly anything further back.
