Thank you for your attention to my question. I'd like to trace the descendants of Mary Ann Topham because I have her stitching sampler; a childhood exercise in letters, stitching and poetic philosophy. It was finished in 1836 and was treasured enough to bring with her on the ship. One of her descendants might treasure it as well. I plan to sell it at auction in the near future, hopefully in Elgin county.
