Clark (b. 1861) married one Mary Lugsdin (b. 1866) presumably when the young woman was in her late teens or later, perhaps 1883 on. She was one of 7 daughters of Mary Ann Topham and James Lugsden (Lugsdin after emigration).
Any Clarks descendant from this match would be (at a guess) 5th to 8th generational grandchildren of Mary Lugsdin and one extra of Mary Ann Topham.
It is Mary Anne Topham that interests me, as I have her stitching sampler, a treasure she finished at age 11, and brought with her upon emigration.
