I am researching family info for a friend.

She has info on Samuel Young, b. abt 1808, Canada and his wife Nancy Flynn Young (maiden name: Flynn), b. abt 1814, Ireland, living in Winnebago Co., Illinois since the 1850 US census.

In the 1850 US census, their 3 children were all born in Canada: Hiram, b. abt. 1834
William G., b. abt 1840
Margaret A., b. abt 1844 - she may have been born at Bowmanville, Durham Co., Ontario

I'm trying to find more information about the family when they lived in Canada.

Samuel MAY have been a minister, but my friend does not know the church affiliation of the family. They may have attended a Methodist Episcopal church in Winnebago Co., Illinois.
