Am searching for burial location of Henry Stafford (C.1818-1877), who died in Manvers, Durham County, Ontario, Canada. He was survived by his widow, Jane Byers Stafford. Both were Irish emigrants before 1860.
Am also searching for any other information on this family.
Any assistance would be very appreciated!!!!!

Thank you for the information!! Henry Stafford (1860-1932) was my husband's great-grandfather. He immigrated to Chicago in 1883, as stated, which is where my husband's grandfather, Robert, was born. I am in the process of contacting Kawartha branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society to find out the specific's of Henry's mother's (Jane Byers Stafford) burial place/date of death. Apparently, she and husband Henry are buried in Graham Methodist Cemetery in Manvers Township. But the on-line information doesn't give much more than that, unfortunately. :-(

I truly appreciate all of your help!!!! :-)

This message will not answer your cemetery question but is a mix of Stafford and Byers information. I believe I found the baptisms of some of Henry and Jane's children.

This is interesting in that Benjamin McGill, son of William McGill and Susan Byers immigrated from Cavan Ireland to Manvers Tp., Durham County. In this write-up, it gives the wife of Benjamin McGill/Magill as Annie Byers. It states that William Henry Magill and Susan Byers were in 1821 living in House No. 5 Derrylahan Township, Cavan County. Also on this same census, and mentioned as being possible relatives were:
House Number 12 Robert Byers - Age 47 - Farmer
Anne Byers - His Wife - Age 43 - Spinner
John Byers - His Son - Age 20 - Labourer Henery Byers - His Son - Age 16 - Labourer James Byers - His Son - Age 14 - Labourer
Mary Byers - His Daughter - Age 12 - Spinner
Dolly Byers - His Daughter - Age 10
Jane Byers - His Daughter - Age is under one year (could this be the future wife of Henry Stafford?)
Ellinor Smyth - Age 20 - House Servant
James McCahill - Age 23 - Servant and Labourer

https://sites.google.com/site/countycavanirelandgenweb/censu...
Listed immediately after William Magil and Susana Byers, for the 1821 census, in House Number 6 was:
John Stafford - Age 34 - Labourer
Catherine Stafford - His Wife - Age 30 - Spinner
Thomas Stafford - His Son - Age is under one year
Margaret Stafford - His Daughter - Age 3

Also in the above write-up, the Stafford name is mentioned 18 times with Robert McGill and Letitia Stafford ending up in Manvers Tp., Durham County, Ontario, by 1832.

(compare the names and ages with the baptismals above for the first link provided in Ireland)

Death register for Alexander Stafford b. Feb 7 1849; even though it says his father was Robert Stafford, I think this should be John; his mother is named as Jane Byers; he was married & in Buffalo NY on the 1880 Census then went to Illinois then to Ohio by 1900. Alexander's wife was Mary O'Hara per their daughter, Jennie M. Stafford's marriage register in Ohio to Carl C. Vetter. Jennie was born in Buffalo, NY
