I am trying to find out a about a fire in Port Hope in the 1920s. I am planning a trip to the city soon and wondering if anyone can direct me to where I might start looking. I know there is a Fire department museum there - do they have archives? This fire claimed the life of a child named Nelda who was living in the home of my grgrandparents, Harry and Maggie Douglas. I would like to find out who she was.
