Looking for Ferns family that lived in Dundas

Surnames: Ferns, Manning
I am looking for information on a Bob Ferns or any of his relatives. He once lived at 303 Park St. W. in Dundas, possibly in the 1940's. I did find an H. J. Ferns in the Canadian Phone Numbers. He lived at 172 Park St. in 1995, 1996 and 1997. I don't know if he was related to Bob. My great grandmother Louise was a Ferns. Her parents were Matthew Ferns and Jane Good and they were married in Toronto and eventually settled in Michigan. Louise married a George Manning from England in Michigan and then they moved first to Orangeville and then to Toronto around 1906. By 1909 they were back in Michigan. I have been looking for information on George's history for many years for his daughter Georgina. George died in 1912, just before Georgina was born. She just recently passed away at 102 years old. I am still pursuing our quest to trace George back to England and I feel finding more of the Ferns family may help. Thank you, Vickey

Have a Thomas Manning marrying 1864 either Mary Ann Pratt or Mary Ann Skipper.

A Mary Ann Manning, 37, died 1880. Registered West Ham September quarter 1880.

I think his mother was likely Mary Ann Pratt by process of elimination re Mary Ann Skipper.

I cannot find any Mannings living/born in West Ham on 1891 census.

A George Manning, aged 15, arrived into Halifax Nova Scotia March 1892 on board the Carthaginian. This ship was going on to Baltimore.

1910 census Reno Iosco Michigan states George Manning, wife Louisa, immigrated 1900.
