I am researching my Tanner connection in Ontario. My gr.gr.gr grandmother Eliza Amelia Tanner married Charles McCutcheon Sr. in Mono Twp, Dufferin County, Ontario. circa. 1845. I have no other info than that they had a son, Samuel McCutcheon born in 1846 in Mono Twp, Dufferin County, Ontario. He married an Emily Mary McCutcheon, born in Mulmur Township, Dufferin County, Ontario. She was a cousin, daughter of his Uncle David McCutcheon Sr. born in Mono Township, Dufferin County, Ontario and Mary Ellen Hicks born in Mulmur Township, Dufferin County, Ontario.
