The family was always associated with Brampton but for some reason Gladys, another sister and their spouses are buried in Forest Lawn cemetery in Orangeville. Gladys' father is my Uncle Ernie Smith who was a barber in Brampton. Her mother was Ida Duke and both parents are buried in Forest Lawn.

I have this clipping for the marriage from a scrap book but at the moment I do not know what newspaper it came from:

Unknown Newspaper - Unknown Date, Beatty - Smith
A quiet wedding took place at the parsonage of the Brampton Baptist Church Wednesday, Sept 16, when Miss Gladys Caroline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Smith, Chapel Street, formerly of Laurel, became the bride of William Delmar Beatty, Brampton. Rev. Norman McLeod officiated.
The bride wearing a white silk suit, with white hat and shower bouquet of white mums was attended by her sister, Miss Mary Smith, who also wore a white silk suit with taffeta blouse of shy blue and carried a bouquet of bronze mums. Victor Payne, Brampton was best man. After a wedding breakfast at the home of the bride's parents, the newly married couple left on a motor honeymoon through Central Ontario. On their return they will make their home in Brampton.

Thank you so much for your help. Now I can visit their gravesite. I had forgotten my Aunt Gladys's maiden name. Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks again.
