My name is Denis Braun. I am related to the Ouimet and Girard families through my mothers side. Eugene Ouimet and Marie Jeanne Girard, note the different spelling, are my grand parents. If you would permit, I can supply you with the spelling used by the family members. I know that deciphering the handwriting in the official documents can be iffy. Marie-Jeanne Girard's mother's name was RoseAlma Bertrand. Gertrude married Jean-Marie Legris, (mu godparents). The name of thetown they and i resided in is KAPUSKASING, Ontario, District of Cochrane North.

Eugene died on 22 Feb 1969 and I had 22 Jul 1927 as their date of Marriage.
