My "step" gg-grandfather looks like he could fit your Charles b. 1860. Mine was b. 1858 to William Driffill and Elizabeth unknown (could she be Spencer?). We know Chas had a brother Wm b. about 1870. We do have Chas's father b. 1828 rather than your 1835, so I don't know if this is a match. Our Wm. had a store in Hepworth and d. in 1917.
