The Six Nations Indian woman, Mrs. Elizabeth Funn, who died at the home of the great-granddaughter, Mrs. Mike, near Waterford, on Sunday, was over 118 year old, not 102, as reported in The Expositor on Monday, the 17th. She was born near the Bay of Quinte. Registered 102 years ago, and had a baby in her arms at that time. Her exact age is not known, but it is quite safe to say that she was the oldest lady in a good many counties. She was lived in the reigns of George III, George IV, William IV, Victoria and Edward VII, and has seen all the Presidents of the United States, with the exception of George Washington and one or two others, come and go. The remains were taken to the Indian Reserve on Tuesday for interment. Services in the English mission church on the Reserve.
