I'm looking for information about George Follis probably married around 1933 in Hornepayne with a woman named Albertine Chapleau (daughter of Arthur Chapleau and Camilia Gareau borned in 1906 in Terrebonne, Québec). They had a child together borned in Montréal, Québec in 1934. The only informations that we have is that George was working for the Canadian National Railway and was Irish. Somebody can help me finding marriage records in Hornepayne for this period or employees records for the Canadian National Railway ?

Thanks,

Anthony

Did they remain married during their life to-gether or separate?

We never knew if they were married or not. Albertine gave birth in Montréal and never went back in Ontario after. My feeling is that they never get married but I wrote that message just in case someone could find more informations.

I do have the birth certificate for the child. It's in French but, I can translate it :

"On July 1th, 1934, we baptize Joseph-Georges-Albini-Jacques Follis, borned on June 26th, legitimate child of Georges Follis, employee of CNR, who didn't sign, and Albertine Chapleau of this parish. Godfather Albini Pilon, uncle of the child and godmother, Hermance Chapleau, his wife who signed."
