Mary Ann Newberry homestead on the N.W. 1/4 of Section 28, Twp 19, Range 10, W2. The letter advising her that the patent had been granted was address to her at Chickney, N.W.T. Can someone please tell me where Chickney was. I can not find it on any of the Twp lists I have found.

Also, her son homestead on the S.E. 1/4 of Section 18, Twp 22, range 17 W2 and his letter was addressed to him at Loon Creek, Assa. Where would that have been located?
