Would love to connect with anyone having information on the above families....Also, Harriet Turner was a Cree woman who married Gunder Udgarden/Haagensen of Hudson Bay Company. He was from Norway. Gunder and Harriet were my great-grandparents.

Thank you for your reply. Our Gunder was born abt 1828 in Norway and married in Moose Factory in 1864. The first of their 9 children were born in Moose Factory in 1865.

My greatgrandfather was Gunther Udgarden, my grandfather was James William Udgarden, my father was Ronald Thomas Udgarden alias Gunner...I was born Gunner...?? My siblings are Gunners also.

Tell me more about your James Udgarden. Is he James William who married Margaret Jolly and then Sophie Sutherland??? There is a record in LDS under the IGI individual records that has her birth & christening. Then, if you click on Joseph, her father, you can see her siblings etc under family. The Hudson Bay Co. has some info as well on the Turners. She would have been my great-grandmother ... Let me know if this helpful.
