CROSBY, Claude Kingsley - 68, Brazil Lake, Yarmouth Co., died February 8, 1999, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
Born June 12, 1930, in Brazil Lake, he was a son of the late Oscar and Cecile (Burelle) Crosby. He was employed with
the railway as a track man, after which he worked with Austin Hurlburt's Sawmill, and before his retirement was working as a small gas engine mechanic with C.J. O'Hanley's in Yarmouth. Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Lewis; sons, Ray, Thorburn, Pictou Co.; Andy, Garloch, Pictou Co.; David, Carleton; Michael, Stephen, Yarmouth; Kirby, Port Maitland; Jeffery, Calgary, Alta.; daughters, Heather (Mrs. John Hebb), Yarmouth; Linda (Mrs. Timothy Gregory), Brazil Lake; Nancy (Mrs. Steve Robichaud), Chegoggin; Robin (Mrs. Harlen Grover), Thorburn; Tammie (Mrs. Stewart Hicks), Liverpool; 35 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Eva Wendy; brothers, George, Ralph, Douglas, Harold, Harvey. No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Funeral 3 p.m. Friday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Chegoggin, Fred Campbell officiating. Burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Kingdom Hall of Yarmouth. Arrangements
entrusted to H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
