MCLEAN - Macpherson Cemetery, Cape North lookup pls

I am hoping someone might have information on the burials
at Macpherson Cemetery in Cape North.

Duncan A. McLean died 23 Jul 1917 and is buried there.
I am trying to find out if his wife, Mary Ann (Lutes/Lutz)
McLean was also buried there. She was still living in 1917.

Thank you.

There is a photo of the gravestone and it says Mary A. 1899-1920
Duncan Angus is above her name. Does not seem to be a year for him.

Found on the Cape Breton Genealogical and Historical Association members only section of the website.

Thanks to you, I was able to find her death record.
It says that she was buried in Middle Harbour Cemetery -
is this the same as Mcpherson's Cemetery? and I'm
thinking that the gravestone is from Mcpherson's Cem.?

That is a question I can't answer. The photo of the stone is from the MacPherson Cemetery.

Pauline - I'm trying to figure out exactly where
MacPherson Cemetery is - is it in Dingwall and not
as I had thought in Cape North?

Your question about the location of MacPherson's Cemetery is difficult to answer. There is no clear separation betwen Cape North & Dingwall although most would say this cemetery is in Cape North. Middle Harbour is another matter; there is a small cemetery at Middle Harbour but in years past (before 1900), people appeared to refer to Macpherson's as in Middle Harbour. For example an ancestor of mine is said to have been buried at Middle Harbour but I feel quite certain they were speaking of MacPherson's.
Duncan MacLean is in my line. How are you related?

Duncan married into my Lutz/Lutes line. His wife, Mary Ann Lutes's father, James Thomas Lutes, and my 2grgrandmother, Sarah Henrietta Lutes, were siblings. I've searched and searched for Mary Ann for a very long time... and suddenly it all just came together. I don't believe they had any children?? so are you then desc. from one of his brothers?
