I have a friend who is looking for MACPHERSON ancestors.

He does not know where in Cape Breton they came from but has this much information.

John MacPherson married to a MACLEOD lady and had a daughter EUPHEMIA.

They lived on a farm overlooking the ocean.There were often shipwrecks in the area.

They lived near a gypsum mine.

I thought of DINGWALL as the most probable place.

Any body with knowledge of this family?
