Re: Adelaide Wamback m. Nathaniel Young
You may want to look into information in Lunenburg County as that is where all of the Wambacks come from. The Desbrisay Museum in Bridgewater has the History of Lunenburg County and a lot of the cemeteries and censuses around there may help you. I will ask my aunt, who was a Wamback, and born in 1905 if Adelaide Wamback rings a bell.

Re: Adelaide Wamback m. Nathaniel Young
James Wamback was the first Wamback in the Shelburne area...He married Caroline Burke..Im not sure when this was, I think about 1890. Perhaps Adelaide was a daughter of theirs?? Most Shelburne Co Wambacks are descendants of this couple James did indeed come from Lunenburg Co...Most Wabacks settled aboutMount Pleasant, New Cumberland, those areas in behind Petite Reviere David

Re: Adelaide Wamback m. Nathaniel Young
Hello. James wamback is my great grandfather. My grandmother was Ermenie Wamback, she had 2 brothers, Charlie and Percy, and 4 sisters, Muriel, Pearl, Freda and Bessie. I am looking for the name of James Wamback's father. I believe his mother's name was Margaret.

Re: Adelaide Wamback m. Nathaniel Young
Hi Robyn, I have most of James Wamback's line as I am doing my husband's family tree. James is actually James Daniel Wamback (1881 to 1941). His parents are Daniel Wamback (abt. 1831 to abt. 1891) and Margaret Sperry (May 11 1839 to bef. 1911). James had 8 brothers and sisters, most (including his parents) moved from West Dublin, Lunenburg county to West Green Harbour, Shelburne County. His oldest sister, Mary Letitia married Jacob Albert Publicover and remained in the Lunenburg area.
