Dr. Nathan and Eben Salisbury or Salsbury of Port Latour, Shelburne

Classification: Query
Surnames: Salisbury, Salsbury, King, Beede, Perry
Dr. Nathan Salisbury, born about 1816 in the USA (when/ where???) married Sarah Beede, born about 1814 in Ireland (Where???) They were in Port Latour in 1881 (according to the extract of the census at Familysearch.org. Havent's seen the actual census).

Among other children, they had Ebenezer, born 24 December 1846, probably in Maine??? and died 21 March 1920. He married Emily Jane King, daughter of James King and Clarissa Perry.

Emily was born 10 August 1855 and died 30 September 1938 in Port Latour, where she is buried.

I have death records for both of these people, plus some census information on Eben and Emily and their family (1881, 1901, 1911).

Have searched the 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880 US census for an Eben/Ebenezer, son of Nathan and Sarah, born about 1846. Can't find them!

According to Eben's death record, he immigrated to Canada 38 years, 10 months prior to his death - May 1881. So he OUGHT to be on the US 1880 census, but where?

Any clues would be most welcome.
Thanks,
Shawna in Greeley, Colorado
