Hi my name is Flora and I too am researching Albert Kimball Acker who married Nancy Jane Labrador. I am descendant from Johann Adam Acker and would like to know where Albert fits in with Johann Adam line since I know that Johann Adam was the only Acker to arrive in Nova Scotia. or was he?

Albert Kimball is descendant from John B. Acker and Esther Crank who it is assumed came here with the Loyalists.
Shelburne County Archives & Genealogical Society has extensive files on these families.

Does someone know for sure that John Acker went to Nova Scotia as a Loyalist? The information I found stated he was born there in 1741, which I think might pre-date the Loyalists (although I could be quite wrong in that!)
Thanks
Faye
