Re: Albert Kimball Acker (1874-1957) m. m Nancy Jane Labrador
Hi my name is Flora and I too am researching Albert Kimball Acker who married Nancy Jane Labrador. I am descendant from Johann Adam Acker and would like to know where Albert fits in with Johann Adam line since I know that Johann Adam was the only Acker to arrive in Nova Scotia. or was he?

Re: Albert Kimball Acker (1874-1957) m. m Nancy Jane Labrador
Albert Kimball is descendant from John B. Acker and Esther Crank who it is assumed came here with the Loyalists. Shelburne County Archives & Genealogical Society has extensive files on these families.

Re: Albert Kimball Acker (1874-1957) m. m Nancy Jane Labrador
Does someone know for sure that John Acker went to Nova Scotia as a Loyalist? The information I found stated he was born there in 1741, which I think might pre-date the Loyalists (although I could be quite wrong in that!) Thanks Faye
