I am researching my g.g grandparents Duncan balfour { 1791 - 1872 } and wife Helen { Forbes } { 1790- 1868 }who imigrated from Scotland in 1801 to Lansdowne ,Pictou County..They had six daughters and one son .only one daughter married and their son William married Elizabeth McLean of Hopewell, their children ,Helen, Roderick, Duncan and Alexander , to my knowledge never married.
