MOORE, Floyd Osborne - 68, 136 North Foord St., Stellarton, died December 13, 1996, in Northumberland Veteran's Wing, Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou. Born in Stellarton, he was a son of the late James O. and Jennie R. (Flemming) Moore. He had been a resident of Stellarton for the past 10 years. He served in the RCOC for 25 years, serving in Korea and Germany. He was employed with the Dockyards in Halifax for 10 years, from where he retired due to illness. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church and Branch 28, Royal Canadian Legion, Stellarton. Surviving are his wife, the former Anne M. Tobin; sons, William (Billy), Robert (Bob), Toronto, Ont.; daughters, Sandra (Mrs. Robert Murphy), Lee-Anne (Mrs. Rodger Benedict), Halifax; stepsons, Albert Wilkinson, San Diego, Calif.; Gerald Wilkinson, Alberta; stepdaughters, Nancy (Mrs. Kevin Roach), Diane (Mrs. Ceto Garcia), San Diego; Yvonne Wilkinson, Stellarton; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Ross, Moncton, N.B.; Melvin, Stellarton; sister, Patricia (Mrs. David Penney), Toronto; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Jennie. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, both in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Charles Cameron officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations to veteran's unit of Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital or any charity.
