Did Ellen May Acker marry Frank W Acker in 1910?? If so, then I believe her parents were Cornelius Acker and Drusilla Knickle.

you don't have to just "feel" its correct. Their marriage certificate can be viewed at
www.novascotiagenealogy.ca

You may need to download a viewer program, which is free onsite to see the actual record.

Hi, Earl. Emma Louise Acker, daughter of Cornelius and Drusilla, married my 2nd grand uncle, John C Dewar. who was originally from Pictou County. They had two sons together -- I believe that John died circa 1900 and Emma married a Conrad.

Thanks for this information, I have checked and edited the page for her.

do you have any more dates for John Dewar?
I had checked before and was confused with it so never used it.
NS death records showed John Dewar from Pictou died in 1865 born in 1805 but was married to
a Emma?
